Reiki

Is an ancient healing technique which re- emerged in the late 18th Century via an inspired and dedicated healer, Dr Usui.

This healing technique brings through Universal Energy to stimulate the recipients body to heal and come into its natural full health.

You will recieve your treatment whilst being fully clothed, on a massage table. Your wellbeing is of utmost importance so all care is given to ensure you feel comfortable and safe.

Reiki is appropriate for:

Promoting recovery post accidents, traumas or operations
Chronic or acute health issues
Pregnancy, both pre and post birth
New borns to assist in releasing any birth traumas
Emotional issues such as depression, anxiety or dealing with addictions
Muscular tensions or injuries
Folk of all ages
Animals and pets

Lisa is available for private consultations:

One Hour: $75 for first session and $65 for following sessions

In the work place:

Lisa offers workplace Reiki to support you to release tension and stress, calm your mental faculties, and reduce the potential for work-related repetitive strain injuries.

Sixty minutes complete treatment for body, mind and soul: $65

Thirty minutes deep relaxation and rejuvenation: $35

Fifteen minutes energy booster: $20

(Add $20/hour call out fee for workplace Reiki)

REIKI TRAININGS: October- November 2010

REIKI I

You will be initiated into Level I Reiki, & have healing hands for life. You don't have to be a 'healer' to enjoy the benefits of Reiki. Useful to heal & sooth aches & pains of your own, your family and loved ones.

Also a great asset if you are practicing any sort of healing/caring work with people, animals or plants.

REIKI II

You will be initiated into Level II and taught 3 symbols:

1) to empower and intensify the Reiki energy,

2) to send distant healing and

3) a symbol to aid in healing your mental/emotional body.

REIKI III

You are initiated into Level III and taught the Master Symbol which was, in its traditional intention, to serve your awakening or enlightenment.

A powerful symbol indeed and useful to practice at any time. You will also be taught one other symbol, plus techniques to work with others more deeply.

Lisa Mills's healing history

Lisa studied rebirthing and nutrition in London in 1984, beginning her interest in alternative therapies and emotional wellbeing. This included the exploration of Gestalt therapy, astrology, dream work, storytelling and dance.

In 1990 she studied physical theatre in Australia and formed a street theatre dance company.

In 1995 Lisa was called to deepen her spiritual practice and spent two years with a Native American elder, Grandmother Windhawk, which grounded her being and connected her to the natural rhythms of life.

She returned to New Zealand in 1996 and was initiated into the Traditional Usui method of Reiki with Reiki Master/ Teacher Ardas Trebus. That year Lisa became a Reiki Master/Teacher and alongside Ardas trebus, she began healing and teaching Reiki, including facilitating courses at Christchurch Women's Prison.

Lisa has taught groups and individuals Reiki in New Zealand, Australia, Holland and USA. As a Reiki healer she brings her own intuitive energies to support others into their wellbeing and wholeness. She is available for initiations into Reiki or to facilitate you into Master/Teacher training.
